MARVEL Comics Review: Uncanny X-Force Issues 5.1 & 6
Well, I recently decided to jump on board the new Uncanny X-Force series I am completely happy that I did. The currently roster comprises of Wolverine, Archangel, Psylocke, Fantomex, and of course Deadpool and the line up completely works. Deadpool with his loose mouth, Psylocke with her growing thirst for Blood, Fantomex who has the guts to shot baby Apocalypse in the head and so on.

In issue 5.1 which serves as a jumping point for anyone who was looking to jump into the series was a great issue and its the one I decided to start off with. 5.1 revolves around Lady Deathstrike and The Reavers. To sum it all up for you The Reavers hatch a plan to launch a surprise attack on the X-Men’s home of residence Utopia. X-Force gets wind of this and attempt to stop the Reavers. You will See Lady Deathstrike go toe to toe with Wolverine while the rest of the X-Force tangle with The Reavers.
Should you pick it up? Definitely. If you’re looking to get an idea what the team is about then this is the perfect issue to pick up. I previously did a write up on my spin off site ComicBookZombies where you can get the plot more indepth but I will warn you, do not visit if you want to avoid Spoilers!

In issue 6 with see the team battle a bunch of futurelistic Super Hero Deathlok soldiers. Saaay What? Basicially, in the near future nearer version’s of Deathlok are created from actual Super Hero’s creating the most powerful Deathlok army of cyborgs ever. Things pretty much kick off with Fantomex fighting off the cyborgs with Deathlok himself. It is a great story and I highly recommend you guys to pick it up and check it out. I expect issue 7 to really pick things up. I you want to get a break down of the issue then check out ComicBookZombies where I pretty much explain the entire issue in detail. Again, be warned. Do not visit the link if you want to avoid spoilers from the issue.
Rating 5 out of 5 Comics for both issues.
